I trained as a fine artist at Brighton School of Art, where I was awarded the Julian Trevelyan Prize for Printmaking by Mary Fedden OBE RA PPRWA.
After completing an MA in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art, I moved to Barcelona, where I lived for over eight years, continuing to develop my painting and printmaking practice. Following more than a decade focused on raising a family, I returned to my artistic career after relocating to Los Angeles in 2009. It was there that I discovered a passion for working with clay, with my work inspired by the vast Pacific Ocean and the dramatic Californian skies.
In late 2021, following the pandemic, I returned to the UK and spent three years in North Somerset, where my surroundings deeply influenced my visual language.
I primarily work in porcelain, creating decorative rather than functional pieces, with a focus on a minimal and refined aesthetic that defines my practice. Each piece is intentionally one of a kind.
I am a former full-time studio member and teacher at Clay Shed in Bristol. I currently live and work in London.
