I trained as a fine artist at Brighton School of Art, where I received the Julian Trevelyan Prize for Printmaking, awarded by Mary Fedden OBE RA PPRWA.
After completing an MA in Fine Art at Winchester School of Art, I moved to Barcelona, where I lived for over eight years and continued to develop my painting and printmaking practice. Following over a decade spent raising a family, I re-entered the world of art when I relocated to Los Angeles in 2009. It was here that I discovered my passion for working with clay, drawing inspiration from the expansive ocean and the dramatic Californian skies.
At the end of 2021, after the pandemic, I returned to the UK and currently reside in North Somerset, where my work continues to be influenced by my environment.
I primarily work in porcelain, favouring decorative pieces over functional, with a focus on a minimal and sophisticated aesthetic that defines my practice. Each piece I create is intentionally unique. I am a full-time studio member and former teacher at Clay Shed in Bristol.
